## Choose the energy job
- Solar: estimate_production returns modeled annual production and assumptions. review_installer_quote can extract proposed terms and installer questions.
- Weatherization and efficiency: list_guides with topic=weatherization, then get_guide with a returned slug. Review a proposal with serviceType=efficiency.
- EV charging: get_node_score with serviceType=ev_charger returns a provisional planning score and next action. Review quoted terms with serviceType=ev_charger.
- Home batteries: get_node_score with serviceType=battery and known backup needs. Review proposed terms with serviceType=battery.
- Heat pumps: list_guides with topic=heat_pump, then get_guide. Review proposed terms with serviceType=heat_pump.
- Incentives: check_incentives supplies source guidance; verify current rules and eligibility with the program owner. Published guides have canonical URLs to cite.

## From a first call to continued use
Informational tools share 20 anonymous calls per caller per rolling 24 hours by default.
A free Builder key includes 100 informational calls per rolling 30 days and three
commercial trial calls for eligible tools priced at $0.25 or less. Read live responses
for configured allowances. create_builder_key requires the operator's authorization
of Terms and Privacy; otherwise use the human activation page.

review_installer_quote takes an owned assessmentId or postalCode plus redacted quoteText
(maximum 6000 characters). Its catalog default is $0.10. It returns source-matched
terms, practical questions and explicit unknowns; it does not include human review or
independent price, suitability or eligibility verification. Check live pricing first.
Use params._meta.maxPriceCents for an operator-approved spending ceiling and
params._meta.toolCallId for a stable unique request ID; reuse it only for an identical retry.
Record actual usefulness and delivery with record_quote_review_outcome after the
operator evaluates the result. A successful call is not evidence of either.

Builder is $19/month with $20 monthly tool credit. Priced commercial tools also accept
prepaid credit; sustained informational consumption beyond allowances requires active
Builder. Purchases need operator authorization. Failed billed calls restore credit.

## Coverage and evidence limits
US guides and installer routing; contractor availability is not guaranteed. Non-US
incentive guidance is qualitative and national; non-US production uses disclosed
defaults. Scores and production estimates are planning models, not site measurements.
Quote checks match supplied text. They do not provide electrical design, battery
health testing, heat-loss calculations, verified energy savings or emissions reductions,
installation approval, tax eligibility certification, or equipment control.
